Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Christmas seems like it was ages ago and guess what it's 2011!
I'm calling this the year of legs...legs eleven as its known at the bingo.
So you're wondering what I did over this festive period? Its pretty hard to remember on the 4th of January! Lets take it day by day:
Christmas Eve: I was at home chilling most of the day, think i actually stayed in my pjs till about 6pm when my bf came down to see me. He forced me to get out of the pjs, have a shower and escort him to dinner. mmmmm thinking about it now, I love thai food! Had my usual chicken satay starter and pad thai chicken for main...alot of chicken you may be thinking but seriously if you are ever in forest gate you must check out siam cafe on woodgrange road its like a 2 min walk to the left when you come out of the station. The bf then went home and I took my mum to christmas vigil mass (called that cos it was at 9 not midnight) my best mate met me at church which is always nice. We've decided it is going to be a tradition for us.
Christmas Day: As we were having guests over we spent most of the day cleaning or as I like to call it 'hide the junk'. My brother who lives in kent came home with his gf and my uncle also came round. We had a yummy roast lamb dinner and then we opened our presents. I got perfume, money, a portable hardrive, raspberry vodka, clothes and a wedding guest book. In the evening we visit my dads side of the family. It's always great to have all the family together eating and drinking and talking about my wedding mainly. My dad got really drunk which is soooo embarrasing!
Boxing Day: I woke up late as I went to bed late, then I headed to my bfs house as we was going for dinner at his dad's house. We had yummy roast lamb and turkey with all the trimmings! opened more presents I got a cupcake calender, cupcake book, pjs and also a photo keyring. In the evening my bf's dad's wife's family came round and they sang and drank. We went home, chilled and watched a DVD.
27,28,29,30th - these days are a bit of a blur, generally went bed late, woke up late, went sale shopping, visited family. I got a late xmas pressie from the bf GHD's woop! He was working alot and didnt have time or didnt really know where you could get GHD's from so said w'd buy them together after xmas. I also bought him a late xmas pressie of a new hemlet.
New years Eve: We went to sainsburys to buy food and drink as we was having my best mate and her husband over to the flat for new years. I decided to make a lasagne ( have u noticed I talk alot about food) we chatted, watched Ice Age the first one as they had never seen it!?! then when it came close to 12 we turned on the news and watched out the window the amazing fireworks on the thames. Being on the 9th floor we can see the london eye from the flat so we got to see the fireworks from the warmth of the flat.
New years Day: As usual woke up late and decided to go to Ikea, it was past breakfast so we had meatballs instead yummers! I bought lots of puppets for school and other bits and bobs. I then headed back to my home, to wish my family a happy new year!
Since then i've been at home in my cow print baby grow, eating and drinking and not really moving much from the sofa. But its now the 4th of Jan and I need to get my butt in gear. I have a 2000 word assignment to do by 30th Jan and I start school placement in 2 weeks!
