I am currently studying BA Primary Education with QTS which means in one year time I should hopefully qualify as a primary school teacher...fingers crossed. I should be considered as a mature student as I am 25, however your only classed as mature if you start the course when your 25! This isn’t my first attempt at a degree. I left 6th form back in 2003 to do Accounting and Finance. I didn’t do too well in my second year and dropped out to work. After working, I decided I needed to do something better with life, so I decided to become a teacher and here I am at Greenwich!
When I’m not at uni you will find me probably still there... but working. I am a student ambassador where I work for many different departments. As its summer I am based full time at the Enquiry Unit helping on the telephones.
I am an East London girl born and bred. I’m mixed race, half English and half Indian which means I am of yellow complexion like a Simpson.
I frequently change my hair colour; naturally I am a dark brown almost black hair colour but currently am a strange gingery/blonde/brown with bad roots!
In my spare time I am doing BSL level 1 course. Just completed my final exams and awaiting my results. I really love it as my best mate also did the course. So we can speak to each other without anyone else understanding
I am really creative person; painting, making things, decorating and I am like the man of my family house. Despite being very small I am a dab hand at DIY. Jack of all trades as they say.
I am quite a quirky character and once described as ‘Nuttier than a squirrels fart!’
